Some brief background:
I went to an all boys school with a girls school next door, In the girls school was the woman to whom this post relates.
When I was in yr8 I actually had a slow dance with this girl, but being the naive little kid I was may have screwed it up (think needy 14 year old boy desperately texting ;) ). But after that I didn't really talk to her for ages.
Im now 21 graduated from uni and started a great job. In a different city an hour or so from hour home town, Im a good looking guy with a lot of confidence and a lot of success with girls since then. Im sure if I put myself in a good position to communicate with her, I would have a decent shot.
I saw her on facebook, and she looks absolutely stunning, not only that, she has that exact same job at the same level of firm, in the same office a good friend of mine from school is about to join. She's also got the same hobbies and interests as me, so i've gone a bit gaga over her, might have rekindled some old feelings.
Now, I live an hour away in a different city, I have her on facebook, What would be a reasonable approach to handle this situation? In terms of distance, that wouldn't be a problem, my work involves a lot of travel in any case.
Im thinking, sending her a message to say something like:
Hi xxx, I realise this is out of the blue, on linkedIn it says your working at xxx and Im sure I recognised you from our old school? Btw I have a good friend about to join your office!
