and how long does it take you to do it?
I know it's a little sexist to put it here in the ladies area but from my experience, more women talk about this stuff than men.
I do basic cleaning everyday (about an hour) and then all the big cleaning on the weekend and the house might look nice for a few hours but that's it. By midweek it's again a total disaster. If I get days off for vacation I can keep it looking nice but on regular work weeks I can't keep up with it and I feel like I'm always stressed about it and feel like I'm doing worse than the majority of people.
People say to just let it go, give you poems about how you can't clean too much when you have kids but I've never actually seen someone else's house be messy either. How clean is a house supposed to be on an average day? How much can you just let go? Of course the downside too is that worse it is, the more overwhelmed I get at what I'm going to have to do to fix it so does letting it go actually solve the stress part of it all?
Also- if you work full time and have kids, when do you do cleaning?
