Ok so my ex left me for another woman and my divorce was finalized in Sept. A few days ago an old friend I haven't talked to muxh or seen at all in 10 years messages me. We start talking and catching up and come to find out his wife left him and they are going through a divorce. We've talked non-stop the past 4 days and he has told me I'm beautiful and how amazing I am. He lives 5 hours away and is thinking about coming to see me next weekend. I asked him to stay in a hotel if he does come bc I have a child and think its innapropriate to have him overnight and he has no problem with it. Just getting out of a relationship I'm hesitant to start anything up right now especially since I have a 5 year old. I'm just wanting to get others thoughts on this bc he seems to be a genuine person and I don't know if I should seize the opportunity or not. He does live 5 hours away so I don't know how it would work easily but then again I wouldn't have to bombard my son with someone new since it hasn't been that long since his dad left bc the guy lives further away.
