hi guys!
this is my first thread, so hopeuflly im doing this right! :D
i moved into a house for college this semester, im renting out a room in this old couple's house, and theres another student staying here too. ive been here about 3 weeks now, and while i like my room and the house very much ( it has everything i need, close to college etc), but ive noticed that my housemate is kind of hot/cold, as in sometimes he'd chat to me like normal, and other times he'll just either not say anything to me, or else reply in one word 'yes/no' answers, and someimes he'll just leave the room. at the beginning i thought it was because he didnt relaly know me, but its been a few weeks now and he still does this. i find itvery confusing because im not sure if ive done something ot make him feel uncomfortable or what. he doesnt do this with the landlady, and he'd talk to her all the time. I dont know if i should ask him about it or just leave it, because some of my friends say that it might make things more awkward if i confront him bout it. but its really g etting to me because i feel like i cant say anything when he is in the kithen chatting with the landlady because he might just ignore me. also a few times when he's leaving he says goodbye to the landlady, and to her husband too, but then he just doesnt say anything to me and walks off. just felt like it was basic manners, even if ur shy its just common courtesy to say bye to someone. anyone got any advice/ideas?
