I'm a straight(ish) girl but I have had an intense attraction to this one other girl for years. Its the most attracted I've been to someone, much more than any boy. She's a friend of a friend and I don't see her that often, and its always when we're out and there is alcohol involved. Sometimes its been almost a year since I've bumped into her and I've semi forgotten about her, but when I do see her I completely gravitate towards her and have to make a huge effort not to be a creepy magnet.
I'm not generally an obsessive person and I find it crazy how I have had such a long-lasting attraction that isn't really based on much. And how, biologically its possible to feel so drawn to someone if its just one-way. Normally when I know someone doesn't like me back I move on easily.
Anyway, last week I saw her at a party and we kissed for the first time when we were all dancing. It was just two kisses but it was more than the affectionate pecks I sometimes give my friends when we're dancing just for fun. She had to leave early and was hugging everyone goodbye and when she got to me she gave me a peck as well. (Which is something I wouldn't do to a someone I'd randomly briefly kissed earlier whilst dancing if they were just a friend...)
So many times in the past I've had to delete her number because I have ended up drunk texting her after seeing her, and those obsessive waves of attraction have come from just talking with her, let alone kissing her... I can't stop thinking about her and I'm so annoyed because it takes so long to get her out of my mind after seeing her, I don't know what to do :-(
