Afternoon all, thought i would write a thread as i want some advice on how this went all wrong last night.
Me and this girl have been talking for years on facebook and we met up a few years ago, but recently we have been talking more and more and i went up to see her a month ago and it was nice...we had a few drinks it was nice.
She has practically told me she likes me on facebook and all that, and she invited me up for her mates birthday last night at the pub.
So i get there and everything seems fine, shes talking to me, standing next to me, im talking to her mates (I only know her by the way im not from her area) but then as the night goes on i notice that more and more she has her back towards me and she is in the circle with her mates and others.
So im like standing there like a lemon starting to feel real awkward for the first time, i try get into the circle and even her friends are encouraging me to, getting me involved in conversation and what not, but what ends up happening is i say a few things and thats it (as i dont know her friends really, and i was tired from the journey and a little drunk)
So she is literally just walking around with her mate, no longer saying anything to me like (im going to the toilet, cigarette etc) and eventually i get so wound up that i just tell her im leaving and she says 'ok' and goes to sit at a table of friends..so i go to the bus station to wait for the bus..no bus yet so i go back to the pub for a beer to wait, they are still there and when they see me they are like "i thought you left?" and her mate gives me a dirty look like im some sort of weirdo.
So im then standing at the bar and its closing time so i leave and i bump into them again as im leaving and i ask the girl who wanted me to come originally "what's that all about?" and whatever..and she doesn't even turn around to look at me...she doesn't even reply at first...remember this girl wanted me to come...like a lot. She then says she's going home and im like "sweet im getting the bus" so i go home and today..i have heard nothing from her.
Thoughts? anyone else been in this situation before?
