I mean without any physical attraction or interest in the girl romantically? I was in my uni reading room a few days ago looking through a textbook when this guy came up to me randomly and asked what I was reading. I answered him, asked what he was studying and he responded. There was a strange tension-like vibe coming off him but I just assumed he was bored and I walked back to my desk. My friend told me that I was "oblivious" to the fact that he was so obviously interested and that he didn't give a solitary **** about what I was reading.
Are there guys who do approach girls just to start a conversation or am I just naive as my friend says
