My girlfriend has found a new job (2 months ago) whilst I am undergoing further studying.
Among her responsibilities, she has to develop a website of the department of the company she is working for. Then she will ask a guy from IT department to implement her plans.
She had told me that the IT guy is lazy and delays without any reasons the development of the website. However, she only now told me some more details. That 2 months ago, when she joined the company for the first time, the IT had asked her many personal questions and wanted to hang out with her. She also said to me that when she found out that she has a boyfriend (me) that he said to her "Since you have a boyfriend then don't ever talk to me again". She believes that now he is delaying on purpose .
She said she didn't tell me earlier to not make me sad and because she knows how angry I can become. I asked her to discuss with her boss but she said that she thinks this is "too private" to discuss it with the boss, and that the only thing that said to him is that he wished that the IT guy didn't delay that much.
Last but not least, I don't like other guys to approach my girlfriend. I am wondering if she gives them the right to do so, because if they say to her "oh, since you have a boyfriend then don't talk to me anymore" , sounds to me like she was talking to him in a way like he wanted to approach him, so that when he found out that she has a boyfriend he considered it unappropriate for her to talk to him like that. My girlfriend assured me that she is just friendly with others and doesn't want to approach them. She claimed that she just can't treat people bad. However I think that she smiles too much to others.
Am I too possesive that I want to be the one to receive her smiles? Could it be that she talks to others in an unappropriate way ? How can I help her and how shall I deal with this situation?
