Pretty much given up on relationships

There's only so much i can do to better myself before the lack of results becomes too disheartening. If i carry on wanting to be in a relationship for much longer i'll drive myself crazy.

I'm pretty average but to be in a relationship you need to be exceptional in most ways, something i'll never achieve even with the best will in the world.
