| I got elected onto a uni committee for a society. The position was one i wanted to do treasurer and i thought it would add to my cv. I was hoping my friends who were running would also get on. This was not the case and now I have to attend many second year events with these people. The others are all quite good friends. The problem I have is I do not see much in common with the others. Personality wise and just what they think is fun to talk about is not my idea of fun. Now there are many night out events and social gatherings which I have to partake in but I just can't stand them. is it ok for me to only do my job of treasurer and not partake in the socials, I already feel outcasted anyway. | |||
