| I was watching a show yesterday where the wife was stating that her cheating on her husband was because of her "uncontrollable" sex addiction. This topic was also brought up by a therapist my husband and I saw over a year ago - she was very quick to label my husband a sex addict because of his past behavior, even though his past behavior did not have the "symptoms" of a sex addict as defined in my research on the subject (later came to find out that this therapist's specialty was sex addiction, so not sure if she just tried to compartmentalize her patients). Anyway, I was curious as to if anyone has ever been with someone who was a sex addict, or if anyone has had problems where they thought they were a sex addict. If so, how did you actually view sex? And what tolls did it take on your relationships? | |||
