| I made the stupid mistake of inviting this guy along to dinner with some of my friends and their boyfriends, as i kind of knew him and he was standing alone waiting for the bus. And I was a bit worried about being the "third wheel" anyway, so I thought i would be a nice idea to invite him along. In a sense, we really hit it off that night, we weren't really talking to anyone else the entire evening. We exchanged numbers and were texting a lot the next couple of days after. He asked me if i wanted to see a film with him some time (over text), and i said yes. But slowly i've began to realize that i don't think i like him that way, and i just want to be friends. It could just be me doubting my feelings, but i'm going to trust my instincts. However after sending out so many signals that i do, what should i do now? I know he likes me, he won't stop texting me! I feel so bad for making him think that i liked him when i really don't! He's such a nice guy, quite shy too and new to our school this year so i want to minimize any possible embarrassment. As horrible as this sounds to me, i'm thinking maybe just stop texting him all together? This will obviously eliminate friendship though. | |||

How to subtly, in a non-embarassing way let a guy know you just want to be friends
