So how would you tell a girl you aren't interested

So my question is above and my answer would normally be sorry I'm already in a relationship or I'm not looking for one

I once said it to one particular pushy person and got a hurl of not so nice abuse and a tantrum thrown :(

What would you say and what is the reaction you would normally get
