One of my closest girl friends asked if I wanted to see a movie with her. I'll admit I've crushed on her for a while, but never in a million years would I think this would be anything more than friends. But this was the first time we were alone together and it turns out she wanted it to be a date. She asked me on another date properly a week or two later. Because were both inexperienced and virgind and we went with her friends it was very much a "hanging out" date where the two of us went to the fair and then walked into town and stuff. It was pretty damn fun for both of us. However, afterwards she said we should just be friends and I was (sort of depressed and) confused. She asked me out twice, why would she break it off? We are pretty damn close but it was worth the risk IMO.
