I've known this guys since I was around 5. We always started at one another but never spoke haha
I always heard him laughing or talking about something I said from the other side of the fence to his family in a teasing tone.
When I was 9 we finally began to talk and himself and his friend were teasing my cousin and me. We were basically dissing one another until I asked him if he wants to be friends and he said yes. After that we were nice to one another for a change. However we still stared at one another rather than actually speaking. Sometimes we would have little words and that was it like if my pet ran in to their garden and I would ask him if he has seen it yet. He still continued to talk about me though and joke about me to his family like making fun of me sometimes. I don't know if he use to do it for the sake of talking about me or because he thought I was dumb lol
Anyway he still occasionally does this today and now I'm 18. He left home for a few years and lately he has moved back in and I still hardly bump into him. However I saw him a few days ago and he was cleaning his car outside the front garden (I was walking home). And when he turned around to see me he stopped and looked for a rather long time. I don't know if he was going to say hi or smile because I looked down out of shyness. :/ but his stare lasted for around 7 seconds before turning his back again. He doesn't normally speak to us or say hi so I'm not sure what that was about. It was pretty intense...
