There is a girl at my college who at the beginning of the year, didn't get along but was paired to do a presentation together. We bonded and became good friends (knowing each others secrets). However, I found out she was involved in a relationship with someone who is 23-year-old, I thought nothing of it and resumed talking to her as normal (like friends).
I became the comforting friend, the friend she calls up whenever they had a fight and they actually broke up in November. After I had a confrontation with my friends on the last week of college, she came to me privately and confessed her feelings, saying how she likes me etc. and I've spoke to her about it and asked her questions on about how long and it being since October.
For Christmas I got her a great present, she cried in happiness according to her friends. However, after telling me this, nothing has changed. We don't text any differently (quite awfully, may I add) and we mostly call instead. Before her telling me that she had these 'feelings', she has rejected me twice from going out with me and my friends for the day. I can understand the reasons as they were she was ill and was with family in Cornwall.
In the present day, we haven't talked for three days as I called her yesterday and it went straight to voice-mail. Am I just over-thinking things or does she generally have feelings for me?
