There's this girl that I liked, dated briefly but never went anywhere as she moved back abroad. She was from France, on a gap year and nearly stayed for another year, but had to return.
I found it really, really hard to get over Her- I was heartbroken. But 5 months on, I'm over her and I'm now interested in someone else, and been on one date with that girl.
Out of the blue the French girl messaged me (we haven't really had any contact), asking me how I was doing, catching up, etc. This is where the conversation is at now:
Girl: I really miss you. xx
Me: I missed you too.
Her: Missed me? x
Me: Yeah, I missed you terribly at first, but I suppose we have both gone our ways (or you've gone yours!) and we've got to deal with that.
Her: Am I not special to you anymore?
Me: Yes, your still special and will always be, but...
Her: How so??
I was going to reply with; "You were the first girl I ever loved."
Is that too heavy?
Also why is she messaging me after nearly zero contact?
Put the internet to work for you.
