Soon after my ex had left me, an acquaintance started messaging me.
He was friendly- and when he asked if we were friends or more, I said I'd be prepared to be either, but he claimed to fancy another girl. I felt a bit silly, but we kept messaging and it was all fine; we were becoming good friends.
It's now a couple of months later, and a different boy has shown that he likes me, and has taken me on a few dates. I like him, and it's much less complicated than my last relationship.
The problem is, my friend has started asking for excessive details and has made some harsh comments towards me. It's not like him at all.
Does he just feel pushed out, or did he actually like me all along? Do I just sit through the comments until he gets over it, or do I say something?
