A close friend I grew up with has smoked weed for a long time (no problem with that,) only now he's 'experimenting' with new college friends and he's a completely different person.
I've ignored it and let him do what he wants, just warned him to be careful. But now, he can barely even talk when I see him. He's taken so much crazy psychedelic drugs that he actually thinks people are listening to him when we're alone, so he whispers and mumbles so badly I can't even make out what he's saying, when he even is talking in a sentence. It's scary. It makes me feel uneasy around him. He's still a lovely person and I know he enjoys getting high and thinks what he's doing is safe, but it isn't safe anymore. It's constant with serious drugs, and he treats it like nothing.
I'm not going to report him to anyone, but I'd like some advice how I can persuade him to calm down before he ruins his life.
I should add, we don't live in the same town anymore and only get to see each other every couple of months, so I don't know what he would be doing when I'm not there..:S
Put the internet to work for you.
