I met a girl online that is absolutely gorgeous and she was really interested in me. She messaged me first saying "you're gorgeous". So after a bit of messaging, I got her number and we would text a bit and then we've called each other maybe 4 or 5 times each for 15-30 minutes.
I'm quite an open, confident and extroverted person but I've always hated phone calls. I often ignore calls from people as I'm not confident on the phone (no idea why). Anyway, I haven't told her this but sometimes the calls can get a bit awkward. Like I run out of things to say and there's a long pause and in my head im saying 'quick, think of something!' Face to face I'm better but she's even said herself she can talk on the phone for ages but is slightly awkward in person. I usually prefer calling her as I can write down a few things to talk about before I phone. And I always call her when I'm somewhere quiet with no one around. I often ignoe her calls when they're unexpected as I feel I'd be unprepared to talk there & then.
We're meeting up this weekend - going to the gym and swimming. Bit different I know, but i think it'll be ok as people become more confident and 'loose' after exercise. Also I know I have got a good body (without being big headed) which helps.
I wrote this thread as I wanted some help when talking on the phone. I feel like I've ran out of things to say and don't want to talk about previous topics. Also, even though I'm usually good in person, I'm slightly worried I'd run out of things to chat to her about at the gym and when swimming because if I run out of things in 15 minutes, how am I meant to be ok for half a day with her?
Put the internet to work for you.
