How to approach a girl if she is always with her girl friends?

1) Should you approach the group of girls and speak to all of them but not the girl you are attracted to.

2) Should you go to the girl group with your group of guys and talk to the girl you like

3) do you just wait until she is alone. (I personally dont like the third option)
