OK so I'm going to try and bullet point to keep it brief:
- Liked a girl for some time
- failed "relationship a couple of times due to my inconfidence
- before xmas she said it wouldn't work and we should be friends
- She said it frustrated her how everyone thought we were together
- she suggested I get with other people to dispell rumours about us
- Come back to school, she is jealous when she finds out i got with someone else
- says we should try again - I agree, over the moon, so happy.
- 2 days later she finds out I had sex with someone... (I thought she knew - she asked if I had anything else to tell her when she found out I got with someone and I said "I got with a girl and then etcetera, etcetera. You understand?" - those were my exact words and I know I should have said it directly... But alcohol messes with your reasoning)
- She feels she can't trust me and it cannot work between us
- I understand her point of view, but I really actually love her... I told her this, and she says she misses me and wishes I hadn't done it. We keep talking on the phone - a lot - probably and hour 3/4 times a week, we're good friends too and I've seen her several times since she found out, as friends.
- How can I make her trust me?
- I would never, ever, even think of cheating on her and I genuinely regret what I did and want her back so much.
