does it sound like this guy is interested??? pls help!!!

I met this guy at a company i was working at about 6 months ago. Note that I only met him once and spoke to him for a very brief period of time. He was so hot tho!!!Then 3 months later I left because my a contraxt expired. I was pissed that I didnt have more time to get to know him as he works in the swiss branch of the company i was working for in England. I sent him a message on linkedin to connect saying it was nice to meet him and i was sorry i did not have the opportunity to speak with him longer ( he is swiss german and I can speak German). I said it would be great if i could practice my German with him.I also told him i was no longer working at the company. He accepted the request to connect as a connection but did not respond to the message. I decided to come off linkedin a little while ago and just the other day i decided to go back on again. I decided to add him as a connection again but this time I did not send him a message. This morning when I logged into my linkedin i saw he had accepted my request and he also sent me a message saying : Hi....(my name here), Are your German Skills improving? and he put a smiley face at the end. Does it sound like he is interested to interact further with me? or would you say he is just being polite and friendly? also, do you think he knows why i have added him really??!and
do you think he will respond to my last message?

I put : My german is improving each day I hope! German is my favourite language although it can be difficult at times. When I was on my year abroad in switzerland I had the opportunity to speak some swiss German. It was a shame that when I met you at X company, I did not get more time to converse with you.

what do u think?!! Do you think he will come back to me?
