How to tell if someone likes you

I decided to make an account on POF because im sick of being single and lonely, I was talking to a guy today which I kinda like and I could see us being in a relationship but I cant tell if he likes me back enough to meet up for a date and stuff
What do I do or say to him?
I know it sounds really childish but ive never been in this position before
