Basically, a work colleague left suddenly and I came into work to find my manager tearful. He left on not very good terms. I had suspected for a while that she may like him but I'm not sure. I could never tell if my own feelings for her increased my thinking about how she was around him. Anyway she seems better in her self, but I've noticed when she is at her desk she will lean her arm and bite her nails. I've only noticed this since the other guy left. So could this be connected? There was also a situation where one of the other managers said too a couple of us ( in front of her) jokingly/ serious "who needs him" and pretending to forget his name. At this point I looked at her she was biting one of her nails and her eyes were facing down. What do you think this meant? Because she had feelings for him?
