| I have often read that the cheater is 100% responsible for the cheating. This, I absolutely agree with. But I have also read that both spouses are 50/50 responsible for the state of the marriage. It's this principle that I do not agree with. There may be 20 "issues" between the spouses that are negatively effecting the marriage. But that doesn't mean that both spouses are 50% responsible for all 20 issues, nor does it mean that one spouse is responsible for 10 and the other is also responsible for 10. It seems to me that both spouses are 100% responsible for their own behavior in the marriage. Comments? Vega | |||
