I met a guy a few months ago at a social group. I have noticed whenever I put my name down for an event he will keep checking the group/event to see whose going. This guy travels 40 miles to come. He always approaches me at the event and doesn't talk to the other women. Sometimes he gets very shy around me and ends up nervous, I do make an effort to make him feel at ease.
We got on well at the last event and some people made a comment asking where we met which we both realised they thought we were a couple, he kept looking at me just after they had said this. He ended up chatting to guys for the rest of the evening and everyone noticed he kept looking at me from across the room and then looking away. I really like him and know we have something there as people have noticed. People have said he probably thinks I'm out of his league so won't act upon it. Any advice?
