Please help me to not screw this up

I spent a couple hours talking to my ex last night in a social situation. She was laughing and joking with me and carrying on as if things were completely normal. I started talking about our relationship. She said that I couldn't possibly have changed that much in two days. She wants to give it a couple of weeks. I think that she is totally receptive to getting back together with me. I think she is waiting for me to say or do the right thing, but I do not know what this and do not want to screw this up. I also gave her a small gift, an air diffuser. It's basically incense on steroids -- she has a cat that had been peeing on everything in sight. This morning, she reached out and said thank you, my room smells great now. Need some help on how to steer this the right way.
