| I've seen TSR threads for a while actually. 6 years is enough of time for modern cultural trends to shift and opinions to shift on the interwebz. One thing I have noticed is that these days people are less shy about voicing the opinion that looks are important, not shallow and actively give advice on the improvement of looks. Just look at the Guy / Girl insecurity threads, mostly looks. In the same time for guys, PUA as a trend seems to be dying a slow death, as evidenced by the existence of PUAhate. Surely at somepoint, the average frustrated chumps would realise that PUA as an active factor of success and not as a placebo could ever have only worked for good looking guys who were just a bit nerdy and shy, not the repulsive die-hard slimeballs living in poverty as they were, and $2k poorer for attended seminars. For girls, the standards are as high as they've ever been. And society reflects that. Look at the latest Apprentice winner, a smoking hot blonde opening a chain of Botox clinics. I don't think there's a lumpy luddite in the western world who hasn't by now been exposed to the world out there and know they are simply inferior. Once upon a time, I wasn't determined enough. Then I was too poor. But for the past couple of years and the next couple too, I'm going from Gollum to Adonis, I'm somewhere at Adam right now. And I'm going to savour my just desserts. Why the **** aren't you improving your looks? I swear to God that that I won't stop proselytising until the the last holdout against a vision of a world full of beautiful, vain narcissistic bubbleheads all living in rapturous bliss are hammered into submission and conformity. | |||

Why aren't you improving your looks to improve your success with the opposite sex?
