Seems like we have fallen at war over stereotypes lately. I want to clear up a few misconceptions that I can point out. These are only my experiences and opinions. This is all in good fun, please join with your own experiences if you wish, and tell us how you are not part of the common stereotypes that people assume about you. :nono:This post is not to shame others, this not is a platform for you to convince others of your way. Let's learn that not all things are what they seem. I will start with the fact that I am Mexican American, Female, and a mother. - As a Latina, my hair is not orange due to me trying to become a blonde, I do not wear white shirts with black bras. I do not have or like the Sharpie eyebrow look ( don't like to look surprised 24/7) I do not believe in tattooing lip liner either.
- I am an equal in my household, yes I get to make "big" decisions too.
- I do not support the Immigration Reform movement. This one comes as a shock to many.
- I like to work, and contribute to my home. I don't believe in spanking or corporal punishment for children.
- I do not relate to the hispanic channels, IMO they are very sexist, and cater to people who live here illegally or to first generation hispanic americans.
- I do not discriminate against other hispanics, and defiantly have no rivalry towards African Americans or anyone else.
- I am not here illegally, please stop assuming that I do not know English or that I do not have a social security number.
- And no my job is not to translate everywhere I go, (while I do it willingly most of the time I don't always have to) I'm sorry if you serve a large hispanic population get a freaking translator
- No, I am not catholic
- Oh and last, as a female I do not hate sex nor do I have a personal agenda towards men. :p
