I think I've decided that I want to break up with my boyfriend, we simply aren't suited to each other - he can't fulfil the needs that I have and I know he finds me annoying and clingy.
The issue is that this is our exam period for our final year. A lot is riding on this, although more so on me than him (his mark is pretty much guaranteed, but it could still go wrong for me). I think I will be more distraught over this than he will, as I'm still in love with him but he's making me miserable because of how little he cares for me. A second issue is that we've booked to go to New York after our exams are finished, which was obviously a pretty big commitment. I really want to go, and I think we would have a good time, but I also don't know if I want to go on holiday still with this situation going on.
If I stay with him, I'll only have to stay with him for a couple of months. It might be better for my exam results, or it might be worse. I don't know. What should I do?
