My boyfriend never tells me when he gets a coldsore he kisses me and then I notice he has a red patch in the corner of his mouth which days later er merges has a cold sore. Last time he had a fully emerged coldsore and kissed me and then I noticed it again in the corner of his mouth where he always gets them, I couldn't see it because of his stubble though. I've spoke to me and he says he won't give it me if he can help it and that it's ok when scabbed over etc. He started getting annoyed once because I wouldn't kissing and he he kissed my cheek and all over my face lol.
Is it him being selfish or is it me being a hyperchondriac? I've never had a coldsore in my life and to me it makes sense to avoid them. I also worry about sex as they can be passed on orally, he said they couldn't but I know they can.
Do any of you have coldsores or does your partner and how do you deal with it?
