Yesterday, I was walking down a busy street with my sister and this man started walking beside us and looking at us strangely. We thought it was a bit weird but kept walking. Then he disappeared and we thought he had gone, but then I felt a hand on my butt and grope me. I was shocked, and the next thing I know the creepy man ran infront of me, looked back and had the creepiest smile on his face that I have ever seen in my life.
I just looked at him in pure disbelief and ran in the shop I was next to. I then felt nauseous and had to go home immediately, and ever since then have just felt violated, and very angry. I'm asking myself, why did it happen to me...why me....I was not dressed revealingly, I was completely covered (not that dressing revealingly is an invitation to be groped!), but I just feel awful for it happening.
I'm now paranoid about it, as I thought it was safe to be out in daylight, in busy places. Has this happened to anyone else and how did you get over it?
