Me and gf are together for almost a year. We are 24 years old.
However, half a year ago she mentioned that she wants to get married to me as soon as possible.
Since then, she has been preassuring me a lot!
She says that if I don't marry her asap then it means I don't love her.
My view is that I love her a lot and I think that she is the one, but I also think that it's too early to think about marriage and that we could wait for a few years.
Nevertheless, she wants to get married ASAP and also to have children.
Surprisingly, I am unlucky that her parents are old-fashioned and they live in their own world and they even wish that she was already married and with child and they pressure her to get married as soon as possible and to give birth to children, because they say to her that if in the next two years she is not married, then she is doomed forever.
I don't know if it was originally my gf's idea, or if she acquired it because of her parents' brainwash, but she says to me that if I don't marry her now then I am bad and I don't love her.
I am pressured a lot, since for me all of my friends get married at 30+ and right now I want to go for a PhD and focus on other things, that doesn't mean she is not my everything thought!
