I went on a cruise holiday last month. One day a waiter came up to me and started talking. It seemed like he was boasting a little saying 'i live in a good country. It's the city of love. The city of peace. I'm 27 and saving up for a big house' etc. Then he had to leave but asked for my name, saying it was nice talking to me and he hoped to see me again.
On my last day he called my name and said he missed me. I was shocked because i'd hardly known him and looked to see if he was smiling or joking but he was being serious. He asked me for my home address so he could sent me photos and letters and we could keep in touch. I was still a little shocked and gave him my email instead, but i messed it up and then decided i didn't want to give him my real one.
He went through each letter and went over it in bold so he would get it right. Then when he left he walked away slowly, staring at my email.
When i sat down he went back to work, and every time he went up and down the room he smiled and winked at me.
I was just curious, was he interested in me? I don't understand what he would get out of it, he barely talked to me and suddenly said 'i miss you'. Do you think that waiters do that a lot to pass the time on cruise ships and make it into a game to entertain themselves?
The reason i'm asking is because i've never had a guy show interest before. There was only one person a few months ago.. He came up to me in the streets and asked me out to coffee that night. He insisted on walking me home (which freaked me out because then he knew where i lived) and asked to be my boyfriend. When i said no he asked how he could change and that i'm not going to find my 'dream guy' so i should just settle for someone who wants me.
So if he was interested then i have a bad and weird record.. :/
