So I just came back from a mad holiday with a couple of friends. While I was out there I met this really cool guy that I slept with a few times. We never really hung out sober, but I had so much fun with him going to the clubs and just joking around - the sex was also pretty awesome!
The problem is that it was sort of awkward when we left - we were on the same coach to the airport and bumped into each other a few times walking around the terminal, but didn't really talk. He sent me a jokey text just before I got on the plane saying that it had been fun meeting me and joking about the awkwardness, and it's left me kind of confused - If he hadn't of texted me I would have just assumed he didn't like me and regretted it, but I don't think he does.
As soon as I got that text from him I felt gutted I'd been too nervous to go up and say a proper goodbye and I realised I actually really liked him. I haven't liked anyone this much after such a short space of time since my last boyfriend (a couple of years ago!!).
I would really like to keep in contact - even just as friends - in the hope that we might see each other again, despite living 200 miles or so apart. Is this just me reading too much into a holiday fling? Should I just send him a random text out of the blue? (If so - what text?!) Or should I just forget about him and leave it as a nice memory?
