Where are these sort of places to volunteer and make friends, meet women, etc...

That aren't full of old ladies and old men volunteering. I find that everyone mentions volunteering as a good way to meet people and make new friends, but when I've volunteered nearly all the volunteers are old people, nothing against them, but most of the time they're most likely to be acquaintances and you have nothing in common due to a massive age gap and you find yourself as just 'that young volunteer in university, etc' so where are the best places to volunteer for YOUNG people like us?
