| When it comes to what women find attractive in men, one of the things I have noticed mentioned a lot here is having a passion for something. I'm not sure I quite understand. What exactly does that look like? I don't think my mother or grandmothers shared this, so I'm not sure about it. We didn't use the word "passion" very much when I was a kid, but I would assume it would mean that the man likes something to the point that he is excited about it and puts time into it. It could be his love for golf, coaching little league, or even his job. That was always an issue when I was a kid. Having a huge interest in something usually just led to something that would get on the woman's nerves and cause friction in the relationship. I know a lot of men seem to have a passion for sports; therefore, they watch it a lot on tv. Is that attractive to women? I'm curious if the "Clint Eastwood" type personality is no longer attractive to women, and I'm talking about the characters that he plays. I ask because that is how I would describe my personality. I relate to him a lot. In reading this forum in the past couple of years, it appears that women like men who have an outgoing, energetic personality that makes them laugh a lot. Clint's characters are just the opposite. He's calm, laid-back, doesn't laugh a lot, not very sensitive, doesn't seem like an overly romantic guy, and doesn't get real excited about a lot, yet in my childhood, he was a true he-man and I remember women drooling over him then. I even saw Kellie Pickler go nuts when he was on Ellen a few years ago. However, would his character personality do anything for women these days? On the other hand, what about someone like Mr. Rogers? He was married, but he just doesn't seem to have the qualities described here that most women want today. I think my grandmother would have loved him, but I doubt he would do much for women today. | |||
