I've changed my name on here, and my age, but I'll give a rough outline, I'm a 19 year old British born Indian, and currently in my second year of a Chemistry degree at a Russell Group university, I'm haven't had an actual long term girlfriend before university but I've been with girls in sixth form. Since September 17th last year (only remember cause it was the same day GTAV came out ) I've been with my current girlfriend, 20, and we've been 'intimate' but yesterday she told me that, despite using protection, that she's pregnant. As an Indian, with Indian parents, although they won't kick me out, they'll be furious like most parents would be. But my girlfriends parents, although I've met her parents this summer, and she met mine, they'll also be furious. Abortion is definitely not an option btw, just saying. My dilemma is how to tell the parents, how to support my girlfriend whilst doing my chemistry degree, as I've already got a job as a Patent Attorney lined up when i graduate next year due to my first year test scores, and my a level results, which will pay me about £25k straight away, and will my girlfriend have to drop out of uni , as she is currently studying medicine. The due date is about 3 weeks after her exams are provisionally going to finish, and they're will be about three months between her due date, and her restarting her third year at uni. Any advice??
