The girl I like and have dated a few times is leaving and returning to her country, permanently in a few weeks.
We get on really well and just click, and this has continued since we stopped dating (because she found out she was definitely leaving).
In the last few weeks, things have just got a little...awkward. It's not quite the right word, but I'm not sure how else to describe it. The click had gone a little.
We still talk, but not for as long anymore, will still text but not as often, extra.
Last week she told me "it's going to be really hard leaving you".
Could be we are both subconsciously trying to emotionally detach ourselves from each other, because we know the inevitable is coming?
