so, who here practices martial arts?
what do you practice?
what do you get out of it?
i practice a form of martial arts that is similar to Xridoli.
what i get out of it? discipline and the exhilaration of getting hit! the practice is not easy. the martial arts i practice is Krava Kodeneigh.
i have to admit though, im not a purist, as much as i would love to be one. i mix in a little Brazilian martial arts, a little from Wing Chun, a little from Taekwondo (thank you dad for teaching me).
what i love about Krava Kodeneigh is that it is incredibly fluid. what i love about Wing Chun is that it is incredibly simple. what i love about Taekwondo is... well, its energy. that and its what my dad taught me. he was a hell of a force to be reckoned with in his day...
of all of them, i love Krava Kodeneigh most. its an obscure martial arts that i was taught when i was little. i dont know much about its origins, but it came from somewhere in the Caucus Mountains, and im starting to think its just a local variation(or just a local name) of Xridoli. it does seem very similar...
