Is 19 too young to be in a long-term relationship

  • Thread Starter

I've been with my girlfriend since I was 17. I've never been in another relationship so this is my first and it's been almost 2 years. I have phases where I really love her but also phases where I question if I'm missing out on many things in life. I was at a party the other day and she girl was party persistent to get me alone and to make me stay the night, but as I'm faithful I refused. The thing that got to me was that I was tempted by her and I felt guilty for feeling like this. So I told my girlfriend about this and how I sometimes am concerned about us splitting up in the future and missing out on loads as a result. It's safe to say that she wasn't happy.

But is it normal to feel like this at this age? I'm yet to start uni and I'm concerned that I will feel that same way as I felt at the party I was talking about. I'm just generally worried and don't know if I'm thinking straight or not.

Any advice
