Excellent behavior birthday weekend...how do I continue to encourage?

Hi all....

This is not a tale of distress....it's actually a tale of happiness and gratefulness...

Most of you know I asked my husband for a much needed dinner out for my birthday...he agreed that it was okay for his sister to watch our son for an early dinner out...

Then he asked what I was doing "Monday"...I had told him I took the day off to run errands....but I didn't have any "set" appts except for a massage at 2 pm...and that I'd love to spend the day together if he wanted to...he said he cleared his schedule.

Well, my husband took me to dinner, gave me a lovely card with handwriting saying he is so happy and each year with me gets better and better and he looks for several more birthdays to celebrate with me in the future....then he gave me a gift certificate to the spa I go to....then on Monday (yesterday), after we dropped off our son at daycare, he took me to breakfast...asked if I wanted to see a matinee with him (told him I had the massage...he asked me to reschedule....I said I'd see if they could take me earlier.....they cancelled it anyways!) and we spent the afternoon partially in our home ....and partially at the movies...

Then he asked me to go get our son and he would get dinner....he got a great dinner from Whole Foods: short ribs, macaroni and cheese and carrots....then an great peanut butter cheesecake for dessert and a beautiful card "from" our son...

I couldn't have asked for a better weekend and birthday....

I told him how much I enjoyed it...how good a job he did and how thoughtful he was....and that I truly enjoyed his company..

He smiled and said, "same here darling..."

Now...the issue is:......

..how do I get him to CONTINUE WITH THIS AWESOME BEHAVIOR???

THIS is the husband I want...NOT the one who is a bully and a meanie....this one...I want this one!!! (tee hee)...no really, I thought his behavior was commendable and I told him I enjoyed being around him.

...other than that, there's not much else I can do, right? (after all, I can't control someone else's behavior..)
