Long distance soon, is it worth it?

Hey everyone, I am currently in my final year of sixth form with my girlfriend, and we are planning on both going to the UK in uni's near each other. We've been planning our futures together (bit sad I know), but I need some advice on whether this would really work, and would we get through uni? Thank you in advance.
