Ex and I broke up a month and a half ago.
We have strong sexual chemistry, almost slept together the first night we met (and that didn't put him off me). We broke up once about a year ago ( he was finding long distance at uni hard) he visited me I slept with him once and the next time said, you're pretty much acting like I'm still your girlfriend... either we're back together and we're carrying on, or I'm walking away now and he wanted to get back together. But I was really mentally strong back then and acted so cool throughout the break up. He also didn't start acting relationshippy again with me, until he came to visit.
The reason we've broken up this time is because I've started to have mental health problems and he couldn't deal with it (especially as the girl he fell for was so 'together';). I'm really not sure if I want to get back with him... I feel like you don't abandon a person when they have problems, you support them through it. But on other hand, what I did was pretty extreme and I can understand it being healthier for him to get away from that.
But... I don't want to have ruined my chances and I feel like I have by letting him use me to **** off on the phone. Saying this he has suggested I come visit him now. But then, it could be just because he thinks I'll sleep with him. I'm so confused. What do y'all think? Would you respect your ex less if they did that?
