Setting the details out: I've been in a relationship with my bf for about a year and a half now. We've been in a long-distance relationship for about 13 months, and so far have seemingly been going strong. We currently aim to see each other twice a month at least.
We talk every day (usually via text because both of us work most days), about anything and everything. Pretty much the first thing I do in the mornings is to send him a good morning text.
The "problem" I have, is I feel like he's not as affectionate or responsive as he used to be....
Granted, most of our conversations are built through texting, but even so, throughout our relationship (in which most of it has been long distance), I've never felt so isolated before.
Some examples being; he hardly ever uses the usual petnames he does for me, emoticons are kept to a minimum, no mention of when we're gonna next plan our visits. Often it'll be ages before he responds despite us going back-and forth for the last couple of minutes.
Of course, this could just be me sounding like an insecure gf (and trust me, I hate it more than anyone), but I'm not sure if these are really signs for warning or if I'm just winding myself up for no reason....What I'm asking here, is should I confront him about it (where there's a reasonable chance it could just be nothing), or leave it, and wait until we see each other in person??
(I *really* don't want to be the person to bring up drama if it's not needed)
