Last year, I filed for divorce after catching my wife in numerous lies. We began talking and she also admitted to stealing my half of the tax return. I make three times as much as she does but I also have three times the financial obligation. As an attempt to work it outcome she said I could have her share of this year's refund. Got notified by the accountant that it's not going to be even half of what she took from me. Do I hold her accountable to repaying me for every dime? She's horrible with managing money....she blew right through all of last year's refund like no tomorrow. I feel like I have to raise her and it's my job to save her from her bad decisions, and quite frankly, I think she needs to face the consequences.
