Okay so i'm in my first year at uni and for the past 4 weeks i've been going to lectures with this girl, both of us talk to each other and we seem to be making friends. We only see each other in lectures though. Anyway for the past week she's been talking about her birthday which is coming up on Friday, i don't know if she's just excited about it or something but she's been talking about it a lot (what she plans to do, who she invited etc...). Today she said that she invited pretty much everyone she knows... thing is i wasn't invited wtf?!? I have hinted a few times that i'm free on that day and stuff but i obviously don't want to sound too desperate.
Am i just making a big deal out of this?
Did i screw up somehow?

I was just mainly looking for people to make friends with to go out to clubs and whatever i'm not super bothered about relationships atm i think she has a boyfriend anyway
