Long story short, I despise my rubbish excuse for a `brother`, and I'm looking to file a restraining order, as my parents are too afraid to kick him out.
He is a failure, he is a drug addict, who claims to be up to £600 in drug money debt, he has no money, no education, nothing. He is a manipulative bum, who sits on his arse all day, leaving a mess EVERYWHERE, commanding my parents what to do, using everybody's stuff, it's unbearable now.
He screams and shouts if he can't get what he wants; for example, just two days ago, he started another argument because my mum stopped him from using her PC. He has been `borrowing` it for about 3 years, on it every day, and I've had to repair it 4 times. On the 4th time, my mother had enough and told him he can't use it. He kicked doors down, made holes in walls, etc.
I'm 16, and understand that I don't have a right to tell my parents to kick my brother out, but they want him out too. However, he keeps bringing up the `debt` excuse, saying that if he moves out he'll be killed. As a result, after a 15 minute argument he will be told he's moving out, 20 minutes later they're having a conversation about my mother paying off his debt, and she just gave him my £10 because he was screaming and shouting, and once again, he sleeps at home that night, and the length it takes him to kick off again. Then, they'll say he's moving out again, but he'll stay and it goes round-and-round.
I, on the other hand, have earned a good amount of money from freelance programming online, and can afford my own stuff. However, I find it extremely unfair that she should give him money just because he screams and shouts. For the past few days, I've asked for a haircut, as my hair is getting out-of-hand, and she says that she can't afford it; but then she gives my brother money for a phone, because he was screaming and shouting again.
I want him out, and so do my parents, they just can't bring themselves to do it. Therefore, my logic is as follows: if I can get a restraining order against him, they'll have to kick him or me out. They know the stress that he causes, and I hope that they'll have to kick him out. If they kick me out, that's fine, I can afford my own place for a while.
Put the internet to work for you.
