I have been in a LDR with my boyfriend for the past 9 months.He works with a lot of girls and has a lot of female friends.
I've always prided myself on the fact that we have a very honest relationship and that we trust each other 100%. I've never been tempted to check his phone/facebook and I have always trusted him explicitly.
The other night he told me that he had lied to me about the fact that he had gone out to lunch with a girl from work because he was aware that he often spoke about this girl and he was worried I would begin to think something was going off. He also admitted that before we dated this girl had thrown herself at him but he had said no.
It's only a tiny lie but it makes me wonder if he's lied about anything else and also why he felt the need to cover up spending time with this particular girl. He didn't want me to feel insecure but now I feel more insecure then ever. I'm even tempted to check his FB and I never want to be that girl who does that. Am I being irrational?
